4Points BBQ to Close May 29

Bad news for BBQ fans: 4Points BBQ & Blues House in Winterport is closing its doors on May 29. They announced the closure in a Facebook post on Tuesday morning, although word of the impending closure was already circulating last weekend.

4Points, which opened in 2011, serves up a variety of meats including brisket, smoked turkey and pulled pork prepared with a dry rub. Customers have a choice of sauces that come from different regions of the country known for their unique BBQ style: Texas, Carolina, Kansas City and Memphis.

With a few weeks left, it’s not too late to get your 4Points fix: The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and has indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting).
