Casa Mexicana, new taco truck, set to open Sept. 2 on the Bangor Waterfront

A new addition to the lineup of food trucks on the Bangor Waterfront will begin serving up tacos and other Mexican treats on Sept. 2.

Casa Mexicana will begin lunch and dinner service on Friday, just in time for three days of concerts on the Waterfront — country artists Sammy Kershaw and Rowdy Yayes in the Waterfront Park on Friday night, Blink-182 on Saturday at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion, and Rascal Flatts on Sunday at the DWP.

Though there’s very little information available online regarding a menu, it’s known that the owner, Gabriel Muno Solis, will definitely be serving tacos, as a photo on the truck’s Facebook page notes that every day is Taco Tuesday — at least, for the firefighters, police, military and veterans that he’ll be offering 10 percent off to, daily. Check back for more information on the truck next week!

Mmmm. Tacos.
